I was really excited to start this kit, but unfortunately I ended up feeling disappointed with the overall quality. One of the main issues was the drills themselves. There were two noticeably different shapes—some more rounded and others flatter and more square—which caused significant gapping. Even after completing several sections, the gaps never fully settled, leaving the finished areas looking uneven.
Another concern was the color accuracy and printing. The canvas was printed with green tones in areas where the artwork and drills were clearly meant to be brown, which felt unusual and confusing from the start. The drills provided for those sections were brown, but they didn’t align well with the canvas printing, and the color blending didn’t make much sense overall. Many areas ended up looking muddy, and the road section, which appeared intended to be a chocolate-brown color, came across almost black once placed.
Because of these issues, I ultimately chose not to finish the kit, which is rare for me. I wanted to share this experience to help set expectations for others, as I wasn’t aware of these inconsistencies beforehand. While the concept had potential, the quality issues made it difficult to enjoy working on this piece.
